Sant’Ambrogio Servizi Industriali was established in Milan in 1988, as an engineering company in the field of pressure equipment.
As a software developer Sant’Ambrogio provides the suite of programs for the mechanical design, checking and estimating the costs of pressure vessels and heat exchangers, in accordance with the main applicable rules (ASME VIII Div. 1 and Div. 2, AD 2000, EN 13445-3), currently existing 500 users worldwide. The programs have a modular structure, so they can meet the needs of each user.
Sant’Ambrogio is also an active participant in the process of drafting the rules on pressure vessels, the director of the company, Dr. Fernando Lidonnici, being a member of the group that prepared the harmonised standard EN 13445 and consultant of the European Commission for the preparation of the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED).
The programs are the result of integrating the skills and experience of team members consisting of engineers, technicians, software developers, which use their own software to conduct their design activities.
